It is not only passion but also hard work that led to the creation of the International Shared Loft “Giewont,” whose history began in January 2014. Jan not only revolutionized the organization of these competitions but also gained recognition among pigeon enthusiasts worldwide.
A crucial part of this story includes the first championship, organized in the summer of the same year, which proved to be a spectacular success as 90% of the flock reached the final. This milestone in shared lofts marked a new era in which standards were raised to a higher level. Previous lofts achieved only about a 30% success rate, making Giewont’s accomplishments a groundbreaking feat.
Behind this success lies immense determination and hard work. This commitment allowed Giewont to achieve outstanding popularity. The following years were no less successful, and for eight years, Bocheńczak ran the loft, which housed up to a thousand birds. The year 2021 brought a new chapter in Giewont’s history, as it joined the elite ranks of the FCI and the World League.
In 2022, it was time for another step forward—a new facility capable of housing up to three thousand pigeons. Notably, attractive prizes and expert care attracted numerous enthusiasts to participate in these exceptional competitions. The year 2023 proved yet again Giewont’s remarkable potential, necessitating further expansion of the lofts to accommodate up to four thousand pigeons.
The pace of Giewont’s development is truly impressive. Every year brings new challenges and opportunities. Thus, this year, a decision was made to launch an auction portal, emphasizing comprehensive customer service. This reflects continuous dedication to meeting breeders’ needs, not only through exceptional care but also through a range of services.
The year 2024 will undoubtedly maintain this momentum. Thanks to devoted work and a commitment to quality, “Giewont” attracts more participants every year.
