Training 5
DERBY ZAGREB TEAM:
Today we held our 5th training session. We took our pets about 20 km away from the pigeon loft, near a small village behind Vrbovec called Gostović. For the first time, we released all the pigeons together from the truck… The weather in the morning was nice, sunny, around 26 degrees Celsius, which was suitable for release. However, we have to consider that pigeons that don’t immediately head home will have problems later in the day as temperatures rise above 35 degrees Celsius. They will probably perch somewhere and arrive in the evening or the next morning… Let’s continue… the 6th training session is in two days.
