Zagreb, Croatia, sets the stage for the eponymous One Loft Race, whose top pigeons are being auctioned on PIPA for the first time in 2025. With 2,266 pigeons entered by 322 fanciers, this derby attracts significant attention, not least due to its flawless organization. The pigeons faced tough competition under selective conditions, with the 500 km final featuring 753 participants. The finale proved a true test of strength, with 32 pigeons arriving on day one, but approximately 85% home within 48 hours. Two pigeons arrived almost simultaneously at a speed of 1,091 m/min, more than 15 minutes ahead of third place. The rest returned one by one, making it a true head-to-head battle.
