Algarve Great Derby 2025. Training 3

Hey flock friends, it’s Ringo reporting straight from the loft!

Today we went for Training 3 – 23 km this time, so we doubled the distance compared to last toss.

Physically? Pfft… no problem for us. We fly 75 minutes at home every day, so our wings barely warmed up.

But here’s the trick – with the distance going up, it’s not about muscles anymore… it’s about brains and orientation.

The flight was smooth, arrivals steady, but something’s changing –

Instead of only big flocks, we’re starting to arrive in medium and smaller groups, one after another.

The further we go, the more we need to think and find our way.

We did so well today that the trainers said:

“No extra rest – next road training is coming right away!”

No complaints from me – bring it on!

Every kilometre makes us smarter and sharper for what’s ahead.
